The son of a German-American doctor and an Italian-America nurse, Mark was born in San Diego, raised on the North shore of Chicago, and calls Harlem, home. Thanks to his parents’ great passion for the arts, his youth was filled with theatre, symphony, ballet, and opera. After watching Baryshnikov dance, Yo-Yo Ma play, George Hearn and Angela Lansbury sing, and the original Steppenwolf greats act, he was hooked.
Mark has been a working actor for decades— Most notably were 6 years recurring on ALL MY CHILDREN, originating the role of C.S. Lewis in the award-winning FREUD’S LAST SESSION, appearing in guest-starring roles on the major television networks, and featured in world/US premieres at some of our country’s finest theatres. Mark is a member of The Actors Center, an Associate Artist at Barrington Stage Company in the Berkshires, and a proud son, brother, uncle, and husband.
Mark is a lover of dogs, travel, and sugary things. He’s a hater of getting out of bed.
